This position is for the Fall 2024 soccer season and comes with a $2000 stipend.

JOB SUMMARY:

Hope Academy has a seasonal opening beginning in the 2024-2025 school year for a JV Girls’ Soccer Coach. This coach will oversee the JV Girls’ Soccer Program in the high school. This person will report to Girls’ Head Soccer Coach.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Integration of Christian faith to learning, life, soccer, and competition
  • Oversight of girls’ high school JV soccer program
  • Plan practices for the girls’ JV soccer team
  • Athletic development of girls’ soccer players
  • Clear and regular communication with players and parents  
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Girls’ Soccer Coach and Athletic Director  

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Christian faith - Acknowledge Christ as Savior and seek to live his/her life as His disciple
  • Demonstrated character of integrity and support for Hope Academy’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Experience coaching girls’ soccer with preference for experience at the high school level and/or collegiate level
  • Ability to build a team, game plan, and teach the game of soccer while developing players
  • Experience working with and developing other coaches  
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, families, coaches, and staff
  • Organization and communication skills to effectively work with student-athletes, their families, coaches, and staff
