Graduate Support

We provide guidance and resources to launch our graduates into meaningful, abundant lives.

The Graduate Support Program provides essential guidance and resources for Minneapolis youth during some of the most important years of their lives.

Our aim is to connect Hope Academy graduates with mentors and friends who can help them grow in faith,  complete higher education, and access rewarding career opportunities.

Three years of ongoing support

35 adults serving as mentor advocates

100% of 2023 graduates committed to our Covenant program

Covenant Program

Our Covenant Program pairs each senior with an advocate for three years after graduation.

Throughout this time, advocates commit to check in with their mentees via phone or email every month and to meet in-person twice a year. These connections provide encouragement, prayer, guidance, and networking opportunities for graduates during some of the most important years of their young adult lives. Hope Academy’s Graduate Support Team has created a team of teachers, staff, alumni, and friends of Hope Academy who serve in this role.

Connection Opportunities

The Graduate Support Team partners with graduates through personal outreach, one-on-one meetings, and events including:

  • Alumni luncheons
  • Homecoming basketball games
  • Twins games
  • Summer barbecues
  • Financial aid seminars for our Hispanic families
