Refer a friend to Hope Academy! If you refer a friend to Hope Academy for a student entering into Kindergarten and/or 9th grade and they attend a tour this summer, you both will be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift card (make sure that when your friend signs up for a tour, they enter your name under “who referred you?”). The front office will have updated office hours for the summer: Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm,

Regular office hours will resume Monday, August 12 (9am-5pm Monday-Friday)

As you may have heard, Hope Academy will have a NEW High School building in the fall! Our main entrance and office will be moving to this location. Stay tuned for the grand opening of our new entrance on 24^th street!

Thank you to all the parents who attended our zoom sessions for the “Parent Ambassador” initiative! We believe that this will be transformative as it impacts the work of our teachers and empowers our scholars and families. Stay tuned for more information about future meetings. It is our prayer that scholars in the city of Minneapolis have an opportunity to attend Hope Academy. Even paying our share finances can be a hindrance. One way you can love your neighbor as yourself is by wishing the very best for them, then do your best to see that it happens. The “Neighbor Gift Initiative” gives you the opportunity to bless families and scholars. The “Neighbor Gift Initiative” is an opportunity where families are given a chance to give above and beyond their regular tuition to support those who struggle with their fair share. Please understand that no gift is too small for this initiative to be successful! May God continue to Bless You!

Fall Youth Soccer Registration is NOW OPEN! The registration deadline is July 11th, but spots fill up quickly, so register ASAP! If spots do fill, there will be a waitlist you can join. There is also a great need for parent volunteers! Please indicate in the registration form if you would like to volunteer coach. We cannot run camp until we have volunteer coaches established. ‍TCO is offering free summer sports physicals! If you are an athlete and will be participating in any of our C/JV/Varsity teams or Co-op teams next year, we need to have a current sports physical on file before you are allowed to participate.  They are good for 3 yrs. You may also get a sports physical from your own doctor or any clinic. Click below for details on the free physical through TCO, including the official Sports Physical Form. Summer Soccer and Basketball Practices have started! We run all our schedules and communication through Team Snap. If you are not on Team Snap and are interested in playing, please Teams message or email Mrs. Timm ASAP at heathertimm@hopeschool.org.

We are rolling out our brand-new Parent Teacher Collaborative Organization this fall! One of our first initiatives is to recruit parent ambassadors for each grade in Upper School, and each class in Lower School. If you are someone who enjoys connecting with other families and have a desire to see families working together to support our teachers and school at large, then we would LOVE to hear from you. Please indicate your interest in the form below. We are having 2 informational zoom sessions - please join either session: July 1 at 10 am and July 2nd at 7pm. We look forward to hearing from you!

Exciting news! There will be new Middle School and High School uniforms for the 2024-25 school year! Click below to view the new uniform flyer.

There will be a one year transition period in which 7-11 grade students may wear either uniform (old or new) in the 2024-25 school year. If you are a current 6th grader (in the school year 2023-24) you may wear either uniform through 8th grade.

The Hope Academy Women's Bible Study will be taking a break for the summer. We look forward to seeing everyone in the fall!

‍Make sure you’ve downloaded the SchoolPass app to mark any absences, tardies, or end of day transportation changes for your kids! Watch the video below for the 5 things you need to know about SchoolPass.

• Mark absences in the SchoolPass app by 10:00 am. This doesn't automatically make it an excused absence. It just communicates with the school so we don't text you.
• You can mark absences in advance if needed.
• All changes to dismissal plans need to be made in the app by 3:00 pm.
• No early releases after 3:30 pm daily.
• Students will only be called from class when their parent/guardian is at school for them. Please plan an extra 10 minutes into your schedule so we have time to locate your student and send them to the office.

To receive Hope Academy text notifications, opt-in by texting “Yes” to 67587. (We will also need to have that phone # on file that you are opting in from). Make sure you’re not missing important communication!
