Thank you for a wonderful week of home visits! We’re so grateful to all our families for welcoming our teachers into your home and taking time to meet with them. We hope the visit strengthened the connection between your family and your student’s teacher.

On November 10th, Hope Academy will be hosting our annual Evening of Hope Gala. This is a special evening where we invite hundreds of partners and guests to Hope Academy, and we need your help to make it a success! You can help by signing up to volunteer or by donating items we need. Your support counts toward your Covenant Agreement with Family Ministries. Please sign up using the link below.

Join us for the Pathways Fair on Monday, November 2nd, 6-8pm! This is a great opportunity to look at multiple pathway options after high school all in one place. You and your student will have the opportunity to talk with our partner colleges, military branches, and local organizations that offer apprenticeships, work opportunities, trades options and more. All 9th–12th grade students and families are encouraged to attend.

Details:

• 6-7pm - Open house: meet representatives from various colleges, US Military, and local trade, apprenticeships, and workforce organizations.
• 7-8pm: Presentation by national college expert Cozy Wittman

There will be NO SCHOOL tuesday, November 3rd due to Staff Development.

We are inviting all lower school scholars to participate in our reading challenge! Your scholar should have received a reading challenge sheet to bring home on October 2nd. This is how they will be tracking their reading and marking their completed challenges over the next few weeks! Students who return their challenge sheets to the library will receive a prize, even if they don’t finish every challenge.

We’ll be talking with students often about their reading, so we can celebrate their growth and grow their love of books. Your partnership makes a big difference in building strong readers! Please ask your child about the books they’re reading, their favorite places to read, and which challenges they’ve tried or hope to try. You might even tackle a few challenges together!

Men of Hope
Join other Hope Academy dads for our monthly Men of Hope Huddles! This is a time of fellowship led by Mr. Bugg and Dr. G. Fathers and students are welcome. Join them at their next meeting on Saturday, October 3rd, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Mujeres de Esperanza (Estudio Bíblico de Mujeres Latinas)
Únete a nosotras cada viernes a las 10:00 a.m. para un tiempo de estudio bíblico, oración y compañerismo. Después compartimos un refrigerio y fortalecemos nuestra fe y comunidad como mujeres latinas.

Moms Bible Study
