Assistant Boys' Soccer Coach

Hope Academy has a seasonal opening beginning in the 2025-2026 school year for an Assistant Boys’ Soccer Coach. This coach will support the Head Soccer Coach with the varsity and JV soccer teams. This person will report to the Head Soccer Coach and Athletic Director and includes a coaching stipend of $1500.

JOB DUTIES

  • Integration of Christian faith to life, soccer, and competition
  • Support Varsity and JV boys’ high school soccer teams and players in grades 8-12
  • Support practice organization and help facilitate practices for the high school teams
  • Athletic development of all boys’ soccer players
  • Consistent attendance at boys’ soccer practices and games
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Soccer Coach and Athletic Director  

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Christian faith - Acknowledge Christ as Savior and seek to live his/her life as His disciple
  • Demonstrated character of integrity and support for Hope Academy’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Ability to manage and regulate emotions in a competitive environment.
  • Experience coaching boys’ soccer with preference for experience at the high school level
  • Ability to build a team, game plan, and teach the game of soccer while developing players
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, families, coaches, and staff
  • Organizational and communication skills to effectively work with student-athletes, their families, coaches, and staff
