The Middle School Main Office Coordinator is responsible for general and clerical tasks at Hope Academy. This position functions as a point of contact for Middle School staff, students, parents/guardians, and guests.
Job Details
The following reflects essential functions for this position but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned:
- Greet and assist all parents, staff, and students who come into the Middle School office.
- Tend to students’ needs.
- Provide administrative support to the Middle School Principal.
- Maintain student attendance, Middle School schedules, and students’ files.
- Receive and distribute messages to students.
- Assist with the coordination of events such as picture day.
- Process and distribute student referral paperwork.
- Create and maintain a warm, welcoming and professional culture within the Middle School office.
- Communicate professionally with parents and guardians.
- Office hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday on school days as well as some staff development days and extra events as needed.
- Hourly rate is $19-$21 depending on relevant experience.
Education and Skills Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Computer skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to go above and beyond in building discipleship relationships with students and professional relationships with staff.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as a team member.
