Overview

The Hope Academy Summer Teacher Residency was created to meet the challenges facing urban schools by training, hiring, and retaining teaching staff that continually grow to reflect the diversity of our Minneapolis student body. Over the course of its existence, we have hired multiple candidates to move into full time teaching roles following Residency, and they have become some of the very best teachers our students have. If you have a talent for working with young people, a heart for the city of Minneapolis, and a calling to teach with excellence, the Hope Academy Teacher Residency program is for you.
